The Ninja 400 and its variations are among the 20 other sport, retro sport, naked, cruiser, adventure-touring, and dual sport models returning to Kawasaki’s lineup in 2023.
Although the 2023 Ninja 400 doesn’t see any major changes for the upcoming model year, buyers can choose between a few new and retouched color options. The same thrilling 399cc parallel-twin heart we’ve enjoyed over the years still beats beneath the bodywork. Other features that carry over include an assist and slipper clutch, six-speed gearbox, trellis frame, 41mm fork, Uni-Trak shock, and dual-piston calipers gripping petal discs, among others.

Check in periodically with your local dealer because the new bikes will be hitting the showroom floors during the summer months.
The 2023 Ninja 400 will be available in three color schemes, with or without ABS ($5,699/$5,299). In non-ABS form it is the least expensive model in Kawasaki’s 2023 streetbike lineup—yes, even cheaper than the Z400 ABS, which comes in at $5,399; the naked bike comes standard with ABS, and no non-ABS version will be available (for more information on the 2023 Z400, click here). There is also the Ninja 400 KRT Edition for $5,899 (ABS) or $5,499 (non-ABS). Take a look at the 2023 color options below.
