NASCAR driver Carl Edwards auctions off Harley-Davidson XR1200 to benefit charity.

Carl Edwards is raising money to help build an orphanage for children in Mexico via Back2Back Ministries. As you probably already know, Carl drives the No.60 Ford and in June of this year, Carl celebrated a win in the Nationwide Series at Road America. On that day, Carl won a XR 1200 Harley Davidson Sportster and he’s auctioning it off to help raise money for Back2Back Ministries.

Carl and his sponsor have teamed up to host a charity auction and sweepstakes via its corporate site ( will auction off not only the motorcycle but other Carl Edwards autographed memorabilia as well. The auction will be held on11/15/10 and the sweepstakes will run from 10/25/10 - 11/15/10. Memorabilia items that will be auctioned off include: his winning XR 1200 Harley Davidson Sportster, crew shirt, car hood and race-worn fire-suit. Once a fan registers to be a member to bid, they are automatically entered into a sweepstakes as well. In regard to the sweepstakes, 500 No.60 die cast cars will be awarded to registered fans/members at random. All proceeds from the auction items will be donated to Back2Back Ministries, a charity that is dedicated to building the orphanage in Mexico (
