"My Ninja 250R" Video Contest

Kawasaki has selected eight finalists for its "My Ninja(r) 250R" videocontest. These eight video submissions are now posted for public reviewon Kawasaki.com. Hundreds of original submissions were judged based oncreativity, originality, and overall impact.

One might think submissions for a Ninja 250R video contest would focuson one or two simple themes, like: "My bike gets great mileage!" or "My250R handles so well; my friends can't keep-up in the corners!" Thosethemes did in fact surface in the majority of contest submissions.However, Ninja 250R riders also sent stories encompassing a wide varietyof creative themes, including: responsible learning, transcontinentaltouring, betrayal, arctic adventure, David vs.Goliath, creativemotorcycle shipping alternatives, and of course, theever-popular---meaning of life.

Now in the final phase of the selection process, Kawasaki will monitorthe overall popularity of each of the eight "My Ninja 250R" videos nowposted at Kawasaki.com. After final judging is complete, the creator ofthe best video will be awarded a new 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R sportbike.The next five highest scoring video submissions will earn a replicaKawasaki racing jacket by Joe Rocket(r).
