Femmoto 2006

Don't miss the largest, all-women's two-day track event October 7th and 8th, 2006 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

It's that time again, ladies. Femmoto 2005 was such a success that head-honcho Bonnie Strawser has expanded it to two full days in '06! That means more women, more laps and lots more fun. So in addition to test-riding the latest sportbikes on the LVMS Classic Course, you'll also have the opportunity to ride the Supermoto track with Darrick Lucchesi of WCSM Racing School and ride the motocross track on Kawasaki KLX110s. There's definitely something for everyone, so don't miss it.** -MC**

Get ready, get set, GO!

This October will be the fifth year in a row that Bonnie Strawser has gotten to once again push her dreams of going fast to the absolute max.

And now, she's sharing her dream with hundreds of other women!

With her partner & husband Monte Lutz, she's organized what is now the largest all women motorcycle demo trackday event in the USA.

This year's FEMMOTO expects to bring over 300 women from all over the world to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for a spectacular and unique two-day event on Saturday and Sunday October 7 and 8, 2006.

The Femmoto is not a race but rather a specially designed event where motorcycle manufacturers who recognize the growing market of women riders bring motorcycles to the track for women to test ride in a safe enviroment.

Women from all over the world come here to enjoy the thrill of riding on a racetrack and testing out the manufacturers motorcycles by getting on track demos.

No cars, signals, driveways, cops, radar guns, gravel, double yellow lines, or other distractions.... just the pure joy of riding on one of the America's most popular racetracks, having a good time and honing your skills in a safe and controlled environment.

Manufacturers such as Aprilia, Buell, Kawasaki, and KYMCO are all here. They recognize that men and women are different and therefore a women's motorcycle will need to be set up differently then a mans. These manufacturers want to hear what they can do on a continuous basis to improve the comfort of women riders not only on sport bikes but also on any type of motorcycle. Women riders are matched with an appropriate group in which they can be comfortable, from rank novices who have never been on a track to professional racers.

"This is one of the few times in a woman's life when the men will really listen", says Bonnie with a smile. "Basically, women just get to jump on some of the finest machines ever created and go as fast as they feel comfortable while on test ride."

"The event is specially designed for women who want to have a quality experience while riding.... just riding...at their own pace...fast or slow, with their own gender, with no male testosterone."
