Benefit Auction for Daughter of Jim Pomeroy

Pomeroy, the first American to win a world championship motocross round(the 1973 Spanish 250 GP), was synonymous with the Bultaco marque. Inrecent years he was an enthusiastic participant in American HistoricRacing Motorcycle Association competition, winning the +50 Expertvintage MX national title three times in a row, 2003 through 2005. Hedied in a Jeep accident on Aug. 6 outside his hometown of Yakima, Wash.,and his daughter, Jamie Lee Pomeroy, suffered minor injuries.

The race-ready Model 135 Pursang is being donated by AHRMA members Danand Susan D'Amico of Utah. Proceeds from the auction will go to a trustfund set up for Jamie Lee Pomeroy.
