Husqvarna have revealed details of its 2020 FS 450 supermoto, which is slated to be available worldwide starting July 2019. Those interested in purchasing one of these competition-ready machines is advised to get in touch with their local Husqvarna dealer.
The FS 450 is packing a 63 hp, 449.9cc, SOHC, liquid-cooled Single, engineered to be as compact as possible to ensure its weight hits the sweet spot in the bike’s center of gravity. A race-ready supermoto machine has to be nimble, after all.
Its agility is further enhanced by a frame designed to provide high-levels of feedback to the rider, along with a lightweight carbon-composite subframe. The swingarm is also optimized for competition situations.
This supermoto beast is also equipped with a five-speed PANKL Racing Systems gearbox, a company that specializes in high-quality mechanical systems for race vehicles, the aviation industry, and luxury vehicles. It’s also got a Magura slipper clutch, which will definitely come in handy for riders jamming down the gearbox in a hurry.
