The TW 200 features electric starting with a single, easy-to-use push button ignition. The 2011 Yamaha TW 200 features a 196-cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine. The five-speed transmission allows for easy and smooth shifting, and the internal engine counter balancer minimizes the vibrations to keep the ride from sounding and feeling harsh. The Yamaha TW 200 features a telescopic front fork suspension with 6.3 inches of travel, and the rear features a lightweight box section swing arm and single rear shock with 5.9 inches of travel. The long, motocross-styled seat allows for easy balance and comfortable seating, and the wide front fender helps keep mud and dirt away from the driver. Body construction is done with plastic, and the seat is upholstered in vinyl. The instrument panel includes a speedometer and odometer, but there's little else in the way of gauges and instruments other than the optional resettable hour meter.
