With around 500,000 units sold, the 2011 Piaggio Typhoon is a 125-cc, four-stroke bike compared to its classic version that is only a 50-cc, two-stroke engine. This expansion in power has led the Piaggio Typhoon to the front of the race when it comes to scooters. Piaggio is based Pontedera, Italy. This Italian manufacturer is known for its legendary style and revolutionary ideas when it comes to personal transportation. The Typhoon is a speedy and nimble scooter that can conquer all kinds of road conditions. The new engine offers better acceleration in the city where traffic is constantly stop-and-go.

The two-wheeled Piaggio scooter is now bigger and better than its predecessors. It is also aesthetically pleasing with its sleek and glossy appearance. The front end of the scooter looks like a shark, which adds to its aggressive appeal. This model has a more in your face look than its subdued predecessor.
