The 2010 Tourist is made in Russia. The 2010 Ural Tourist is a touring style motorcycle equipped with a standard 749cc, air-cooled, four-stroke, horizontally opposed engine; OHV; and a four-speed manual transmission. It has a leading link fork front suspension while the rear suspension consists of a twin-sided swing arm. Ergonomically, it is a comfortable motorcycle, with an upright seating position and a slightly forward-tilting upper body position. The saddle view is basic and austere. There is only an analog speedometer that is flanked by warning lights, and otherwise there are no gadgets or electronics on display. The twin-cylinder engine has the usual torque reaction effect when it's revved at a standstill. In a way, when you twist the throttle, the bike shifts slightly to the right because the engine's mass is horizontally opposed. This aspect does add a stronger personality to the bike's already vividly textured character, which includes clanking engine valves.
