"People always ask me why I ride a bike this wild color, but I like to think it matches my bright personality. I got into bikes because, like a lot of women I know, I got tired of always riding on the back. This way, I get to decide when I go for a ride and where I go, not some man. I like to take my motorcycle out for long rides with my bike club, The Fame Riders, but with gas prices constantly going up, I use it to commute to work as well. I can't believe how much money this bike helps me save! It had 12,000 miles on it when I bought it used, but the Fame Riders have chapters in Nashville and Indianapolis as well as Cincinnati, so we're on the road a lot and now it's showing 26,000 miles. Some people in the club have newer bikes, but this is my first motorcycle, and even though it's 10 years old, I'll never sell it. Why? Because this was my first one and I've spent a lot of time and money getting it just right. I had the shock lowered so my feet can reach the ground at stoplights, I had the wheels chromed and I had the frame polished when I had it painted. After all that, I can't imagine selling it. I always say the GSX-R is the perfect bike and I'm the perfect woman!"
