Across Yamaha’s wide range TT-R dirt bikes are five different sizes of easy-to-ride off-road bikes. The TT-R125LE is the middle child—the “L” indicating long travel (big wheel) and the “E” is for electric start. Despite being the “big wheel” version of Yamaha’s popular TT-R125, most teens and adults will find an easy, relaxed fit aboard this bike, with a confidence-inspiring reach to the ground. Push-button electric start and a torquey 124cc air-cooled engine add up to low maintenance and big fun in a comfortable midsize mount.

The 19-inch front and 16-inch rear wheel sizes are an ideal midpoint between a minibike and a full-size dirt bike, making the TT-R125LE capable of traversing bigger obstacles, while still keeping the overall size approachable and nonintimidating for first-timers. A front disc brake, five-speed transmission, and tool-free air filter access give it a touch of full-size features. Suspension preload adjustability (both front and rear) mean you can tune the TT-R to accommodate a wider variety of rider sizes and abilities.
