Top 5 Features - 2023 Yamaha MT-10 for Track Riders

The five best features of the Yamaha MT-10 for track riders.

Yamaha’s MT-10 naked bike is a good fit for sport-oriented riders who want to go fast with added comfort versus a harder-edge superbike like the YZF-R1. Last overhauled for the 2022 model year (read the 2022 Yamaha MT-10 Review, Is Yamaha’s 2022 MT-10 the Best Naked Bike in its Class?, and Santa Claus Rides the 2022 Yamaha MT-10 SP reviews). Here are the top five things we like about riding Yamaha’s 2023 MT-10 at the racetrack.

  1. We love how comfortable you can be at the racetrack with its upright handlebar.
  2. This YZF-R1 crossplane inline-four engine is good for right around 140 hp. It is really easy to ride and it has a sound and character like no other bike made today besides the R1.
  3. The MT-10 has an advanced electronics package just like Yamaha’s YZF-R1. We have ABS; adjustable traction control, slide control, unit control, engine-brake control; and it’s super easy to adjust via this multi-wheel switch on the handlebar.
  4. This electronic quickshifter makes for superfast upshifts and downshifts without having to use the clutch or blip the throttle.
  5. The suspension and brakes on this bike are plenty capable for track use. It makes for a very easy and fun riding naked bike.

We’ll see you in the next episode.
