KTM Recalls 2016-2017 1290 Super Duke GT for Defective Fuel Hose

Late-model 1290 Super Duke GT motorcycles are on the recall list to replace a defective hose in the fuel system.

THE RECALL: KTM North America, Inc. (KTM) is recalling certain 2016-2017 KTM 1290 Super Duke GT motorcycles. The preformed fuel hose can develop small holes or cracks, potentially causing a fuel leak.

WHAT COULD HAPPEN: A fuel leak in the presence of a ignition source can increase the risk of a fire and injury.

THE FIX: KTM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the defective fuel hose, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Customers may contact KTM customer service at 1-888-985-6090.
