International Vintage Motor Cycle Show and Swap Meet

Fourth annual event in Wisconsin

The Vintage Japanese and European Motorcycle Club of North America, along with the Motorcycle and Model Railroad Museum of Wisconsin and Halfcourt Press, Inc, will again host one of the nation's largest vintage motorcycle shows and swap meets on August 17-19, 2007. The International Vintage Motorcycle Show and Swap Meet will be held at the Outagamie County Fairgrounds in Seymour, Wisconsin.

Over 200 vendors from around the country attended the 2006 event, previously held at the Old Car Show grounds in Iola, Wisconsin, and the event is expected to double in size in 2007. Almost 6,000 people attended last year's event, and this number is also expected to grow.

The event will host an indoor vintage motorcycle show featuring hundreds of British, Japanese, European, and American motorcycles 1992 and older. Both concours judging and people's choice awards will be given. A bike corral will allow non-vending members to sell working motorcycles for a $5 registration fee.

Guest speakers and clinicians will be featured throughout the weekend. These people will speak on the history and repair or restoration of vintage motorcycles, as well as vintage racing, and how to determine condition and value of all motorcycles.

A raffle will be held with dozens of great prizes, including the grand prize of a trip to Las Vegas with 3 days of free motorcycle rental included. A 50-50 raffle will also be held.

Music and entertainment will be provided after 1 PM on Saturday, August 18.

Two charity rides and routes are planned. One for any make, model, and age of bike on Saturday, August 18 at 2PM; another for vintage bikes only on Sunday, August 19 at 11AM.

To qualify as a vintage bike by VJEMC standards, bikes must be 15 years of age or older.

Vendor spaces are available, and are $40 each, or $60 for a space with electrical access. Pre-registration is strongly urged, as many of last year's vendors have already re-registered. On site camping is available for $25 per space.General admission per day is just $5, and children under 12 accompanied by a paid adult are free.

Show hours are from noon until 8PM on Friday, 8AM to 8PM on Saturday, and 8AM-3PM on Sunday.
