Intro

The 2012 Husqvarna TE is a street-legal off-road bike that comes in four models: TE 250, TE 310, TE 449, and the powerful TE 511. This bike is able to be ridden off-road on rugged dirt roads and mountain sides, although, thanks to its street legal rating it can be ridden on regular roads as well.

A new Leo Vince exhaust system that improves air flow, which increases power as well. The engine on all four models is a compact, lightweight single-cylinder, four-stroke motor with dual overhead camshafts (DOHC) and four titanium valves. Even though the displacement is significantly smaller than the average for dual sport motorcycles with the TE 250 at 249.5cc, TE 350 at 349.5cc, TE 449 at 449.6cc, and the TE 511 at 477.5cc; the bike is only 247 pounds which is approximately 38 percent lighter than other similar bikes. This translates to a premium dual sport motorcycle that has the power and agility to get around obstacles and have fun at the same time.
