2011 Ducati Diavel Pricing and Availability Released

The Ducati Diavel has made its way to America and cemented its place in the US market after only three appearances in two weeks time.

Following the success of the 162 horsepower Diavel's Milan unveiling just three weeks ago, the 94 lb/ft of torque machine has made its way to America. The Diavel has been shown at the Dallas and San Mateo Progressive International Motorcycle Shows, and the Los Angeles Auto show. The audiences at all three shows have raved about the new bike once seeing it "in the metal"; marveling in the massive power to weight ratio, carbon fiber and aluminum componentry, and "Bike 2.0" features such as traction control, ride by wire throttle, riding modes, ABS brakes and a color digital dash display.

"I am in love with the bike's comfort and performance features, and can only imagine what it is like to give a 240 rear tire a full 162hp with traction control when exiting a corner." Said Chris Lusardi, a future Diavel owner at last weekend's Progressive International Motorcycle Show. "After seeing the Diavel in person and noticing all of the amazing small details like the bike's almost-hidden folding passenger pegs I am ordering one for sure."

An impressive display of technology, design and performance; the Diavel will continue its cross country tour of appearances over the winter until its showroom arrival in February. While more and more interest surrounds the bike at the showroom level, the Diavel has already generated customer requests both through Ducati.com and the Ducati dealer network. In order to manage this increase in demand and prioritize customers who have shown immediate interest, Ducati has created an online system to collect reservations. Interested customers are encouraged to contact their local Ducati dealer to have a priority reservation request submitted to Ducati North America in order to receive the earliest delivery possible.

Pricing has been set for the 2011 Diavel at $16,995, $19,995 for the Diavel Carbon and $20,395 for the Carbon "Red" version. For more information about the new Ducati Diavel, and the rest of Ducati's 2011 lineup, please visit www.ducatiusa.com.
