2024 Suzuki V-Strom 1050, 1050DE & 1050DE Adventure

The 2024 Suzuki V-Strom 1050 series continues to offer a range of adventure-touring models designed to tackle everything from long highway stretches to rugged off-road trails. The lineup includes the base V-Strom 1050, the off-road-focused 1050DE, and the fully equipped 1050DE Adventure, the latter two replacing the 1050XT and 1050XT Adventure for the 2023 model year. Each V-Strom is powered by Suzuki’s proven 1,037cc V-twin engine, delivering a smooth, broad powerband ideal for both spirited riding and long-distance touring.

The V-Strom 1050 is designed for those who prioritize a balance between on-road comfort and occasional off-road capability, while the 1050DE takes things further with longer suspension travel, a 21-inch front wheel, and additional off-road features like a switchable ABS mode for the rear wheel. The 1050DE Adventure builds on this with additional touring accessories, including aluminum panniers, engine guards, and a centerstand, making it ready for the longest and toughest adventures straight from the showroom. The DE versions feature a tubed 90/90-21 front tire paired with a tubeless 150/70-17 rear, with differently styled wheels. The front has conventional spokes attached to the rim’s centerline; the rear uses cross-mounted spokes. The standard V-Strom 1050 sticks with the previous arrangement of 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels.

All models in the V-Strom 1050 lineup feature lean-sensitive ABS, three power settings, three traction control settings, cruise control, and an up/down quickshifter. The DE models also get an off-road TC setting, ABS that disengages the rear tire, wider handlebars, and updated footrests.
