Buell To Unveil New American Sportbike At AIMExpo in Orlando

Why is this man smiling? Because he knows something you don’t. Actually, he knows a lot of things you don’t, but there’s one in particular you’re probably most interested in. He’s Erik Buell, and his company, EBR, is going to introduce the new 1190RX at the American International Motorcycle Exposition in Orlando, FL, at booth 1157 on October 16 at noon.

What he knows that you don’t is what the bike will look like, and more important, what it’ll do. You’ll have to wait along with everyone else to find out, because until then Buell is keeping his cards close to his vest.

“This is the culmination of decades of dedication, innovation and teamwork,” Buell said in a recent press release. “We have been working to create a pure rider’s machine and a true world brand. From the heartland and the heart of America, these are extraordinary motorcycles that discerning riders everywhere will be passionate to own.”

The 1190RX is a direct descendant of EBR’s race-bred, limited-edition 1190RS Superbike, and while it shares the RS’s engine and many of EBR’s handling and performance-enhancing features, it’s a new design built to “tame the wildest roads and rouse the most demanding riders.” Rouse yourself and hit the road to Orlando, or keep watching this space for further details.
