2020 Kawasaki ZX-10R

Those interested in tearing a sportbike around the track like defending six-time World Superbike champ Jonathan Rea should have their sights set on the 2020 Kawasaki ZX-10R. With finger follower valve actuation on the 998cc liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine, WSBK-developed Showa suspension, race-spec Brembo brakes, an up and down quickshifter, and cast aluminum frame, this machine is just short of the first-place-finishing, race-inspired ZX-10RR.

When it experienced a major overhaul in 2016, track-aficionado Don Canet said the bike is a major performer contributing to impressive chassis feel and the balanced Showa fork that is on a “whole new level.”

Comparable machinery includes the Yamaha YZF-R1, Suzuki GSX-R1000, Ducati Panigale V4, Honda CBR1000RR, and BMW S 1000 RR.

Aside from its optional ABS, the ZX-10R has no other major changes. It comes in Lime Green/Ebony or Metallic Spark Black/Metallic Flat Spark Black colorways.
