2018 Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide

The CVO Street Glide is nearly twice the price of the standard Street Glide. So what do you get for the money? For starters, H-D’s larger 117ci Milwaukee-Eight engine. Which is pretty exclusive, as only the three bikes in Harley’s lineup get to make that claim. Courtesy of a bigger bore and stroke and a higher compression ratio, this V-twin punches out nearly 12 percent more torque than the base Street Glide. That’s good, because the CVO Street Glide weighs nearly 50 pounds more than its base cousin.

Complementing the exclusive engine is what Harley calls “the full-on custom treatment.” Translation: Color-accented engine rocker boxes, premium paintwork with contrasting accents, special wheels, and other detailing. Plus, the audio system is upgraded to the Boom! Box 6.5 featuring a touchscreen display, voice activation, and a navigation system. Like your tunes? The CVO Street Glide delivers 900 watts of audio power driving six speakers. And to keep pilfering thieves away, a hands-free fob turns on and off a security system as you leave or approach the bike.
