BMW Teases New K1200S Motorcycle

BMW has put up a teaser site for its forthcoming K1200S, which the firm is calling "the most powerful BMW motorbike of all time." The site can be found at www.face-the-power.com. (The "Choose Your Language" function takes you into the site.)

Other juicy details available from the site include an entirely new front suspension design and electronic suspension adjustability. The 1170cc engine's crankshaft mounts transversely. The "narrowest engine in its class" hangs beneath the frame and is canted forward. Final drive is via shaft through a purpose-built gearbox.

The site also offers a chance to win a trip to Germany in September to ride the bike at the Nurburgring.
