“You See It Everywhere In The West”

From the November 1931 Issue of Motorcyclist Magazine.

November 1931 In Its 19th Year!

Many strange pets have passed in review…a canary bird that rode on the steering wheel of a car, an American eagle the mascot on a battleship, and even the pet gold fish which followed its owner until misfortune overtook it when it fell through a crack in a bridge and drowned. Now we have the pet mountain lion which rides a motorcycle . Homer Snow and his pet are both motorcycle enthusiasts, the lion being equally at home on the motor or in a sidecar. Ha! Imagine the chagrin of a motorist when he unostentatiously pulls over and slows down at the sound of a motorcycle only to discover that a mountain lion has stalked him.
