KTM Announces Its Largest-Ever Road Racing Contingency Program

KTM looks to reward podium finishers across a select list of regional race series.

KTM Motorsports has announced its largest-ever road racing contingency program for the 2017 race season. Totaling over 2.3 million U.S. dollars in available payout, the KTM Contingency program offers contingency for top-three results in 18 different road racing series across the United States. Racers competing aboard the KTM RC 390, RC Cup Racebike, 690 Duke and 1290 Super Duke R will have the opportunity to earn the following payout for a top-three finish: $400 for 1st place, $250 for 2nd place and $100 for 3rd place.

The following regional race series are included in this year’s KTM Contingency lineup:

  • American Federation of Motorcycles (AFM)
  • American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA)
  • American Sportbike Racing Association (ASRA Sprint Series)
  • Championship Cup Series (CCS)
  • Central Roadracing Association (CRA)
  • Chuckwalla Valley Motorcycle Association (CVMA)
  • Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA Sprint Series)
  • Loudon Road Race Series (LRRS)
  • Masters of the Mountains (UtahSBA)
  • Motorcycle Roadracing Association (MRA)
  • Oregon Motorcycle Road Racing Association (OMRRA)
  • WERA National Challenge Series
  • WERA Sportsman (Atlantic Coastal Region, Mid-Central Region, North Central Region, Southeast Region, West Region)
  • Washington Motorcycle Road Racing Association (WMRRA)

This announcement from KTM ties into their existing contingency program, where both amateur and professional riders can earn dealer credits and cash, respectively, in return for podium finishes at select events across the United States. There are no fees charged to riders, promoters or dealerships to participate.
