2013 Honda CRF450 Rally

A Real Dakar Rally Replica

KTM's watered-down Adventures really got you down? Do you believe the only decent stretch of asphalt is one that leads directly to the next stretch of dirt? If you're looking for the ultimate off-road adventure bike, Honda's newly released CRF450 Rally is your next ride.

This ultra-trick production racer is based on Honda's successful CRF450X enduro model, and built for privateer teams planning to enter Dakar and other hardcore, multi-day, point-to-point off-road rallies. Special equipment includes dual side-mounted fuel tanks to increase capacity, a sophisticated on-board navigation system, enhanced crash protection, and numerous detail upgrades to enhance both performance and reliability.

The release of the CRF450 Rally coincides with Factory Honda's return to the Dakar Rally in 2013, fielding a five-man international effort that includes American and 11-time Baja 1000 champion Johnny Campbell. Honda first won the Paris-Dakar Rally-the forerunner to the present Dakar Rally-in 1982, followed by four consecutive victories from 1986-1989. Previous Honda victories were all earned using exotic prototype racers; this year will be the first time Honda has entered the event with a production-based machine.

There's no Rain mode or Comfort setting on Honda's most aggressive adventure bike, the CRF450 Rally, which was specially engineered to survive racing over the harshest terrain.
