Girlfriend of long-time contributor Eric Putter, Ms. Martens was born in the Netherlands, raised in Kenya, schooled in the UK, Switzerland and the USA, and now works as a financial consultant in New York. She bravely accompanied Eric on an eight-day tour of Japan last fall.
