Motorcyclist/Edelweiss Alps Challenge Tour!

Come join us for the highlight of your 2004 riding season

You're a hard-core streetbike fan. You ride rain or shine, love 500-mile days and figure the curvier and more challenging the roads the better.

You're also a major-league hardware junkie. You keep up on all the latest streetbikes, and devour every road test, feature story and news bit you can get your hands on.

Boy, do we have a tour for you!

We're calling it the Motorcyclist Alps Challenge Tour, and if it isn't the absolute high point of your 2004 riding season, Carrithers says he'll eat his stinky ol' '92-era Vanson leathers. Blending a full day of new-bikeseeing at the '04 Intermot Show in Munich, Germany, and a week's worth of what's regarded as the best motorcycling in the world--the Alps of Germany, Austria and Italy--the Alps Challenge Tour is destined to be a two-wheeled trek you'll never, ever forget. Daily mileage will be higher than average, and with all the alpine passes and switchbacks you'll deal with each day, getting to sleep at the first-class hotels each night won't be a problem. Oh yeah--almost forgot--Octoberfest begins the week tour attendees arrive in Munich. Hoooo!

Edelweiss Bike Travel is handling all the arrangements, so you know accommodations, food, motorcycles and logistics will be first-rate. Tour dates are September 17-26. Prices range from $3480 (sharing a room and riding a BMW F650) to $4460 (private room and your choice of a BMW K1200GT, K1200RS or Ducati ST4s) and include everything except airfare to Munich. C'mon...you know you wanna come along. In addition, Motorcyclist editors will be there to keep things on the safe and sane side. Yeah, right!
