2011 QLINK Adventure Review

Intro

Based out of the Dallas suburb of Grapevine, QLINK Motors has been in business since 1988 offering a full line of scooters, motorcycles, ATVs, and side-by-sides, as well as other products. With branches all over the globe, including Mexico and Nigeria, QLINK Motorsports distributes its products worldwide. The 2011 QLINK Adventure offers a classic motorcycle design, with a muscular appearance. It is available in a choice of red or black. It is built in China, which renders the QLINK Adventure a reasonably affordable price compared to its major competitors.

Performance from its V-Twin, two-cylinder, four-stroke engine delivers only reasonable power compared to similar bikes in its segment. Its acceleration is a little lacking, getting just 16 lb-ft of torque, which is quite a modest figure. The Adventure is better suited for everyday commutes and cruising long country roads without a particular need to push the speed limit or pass other vehicles. Its rear disc brakes ensure a safe stop whenever it is necessary. First introduced in 2010, the 2011 Adventure is basically a carryover from the previous year and includes no additional features. Its one-piece leather seat can comfortably seat two passengers and is supportive enough for longer road trips. Standard passenger foot pegs are included as well.

Its chrome spoke wheel design and chrome dual exhaust adds to its classic motorcycle appearance, and the Adventure will surely get around town in style. Its relatively low cost perhaps makes up for its modest performance, though its lavish comfort and traditional good looks are what help set it apart from the competition.
