2011 Police Motorcycle Skills Competition Rodeo

Come out to the Orange County Traffic Officers Association Rodeo, back in Huntington Beach on Wednesday, Oct. 5. This is a big event. A Top Gun competition determines the best of the best. Two police riders at a time go into a complicated cone pattern and go at it handlebar to handlebar. First one to knock down a cone, get out of the pattern or put a foot down loses. Very exciting to watch. Check out the video: http://www.octoa.org/rodeo.php Great photo ops, and this day is important for two reasons: It's a serious training day for motor officers, and it's a benefit, this year, for nine fallen officers and their families. The public is invited. Hundreds of motor officers from throughout Southern California and beyond will be there, aiming to win the competition, hold up the pride of their department, and do some good work.

WHEN:
Wednesday, October 5, 07:00-17:00

WHERE:
Huntington State Beach
Newland St. & Pacific Coast Hwy., right off the beach!
