Yamaha And Alpinestars Donate Unique Haga Leathers To Riders For Health

The Yamaha Motor Italia Superbike team have kindly donated a unique set of Noriyuki Haga's Alpinestars leathers to the Riders For Health charity to auction for their cause. The leathers were created for the 2008 Donington round of the World Superbike Championship as part of the Yamaha Livery Design Competition.

Following the creation of the winning bike design by MCN reader Ben Leeves, the design was then taken in-house by Yamaha and the template for the special leathers created. This design was then sent off to the Alpinestars workshop in Japan where Noriyuki's leathers are made. The design was revealed to the press and race going public at the Donington track, the full story can be found on www.yamaha-racing.com.

To be in with a chance of owning this special piece of Yamaha racing heritage, you will need to log on to the Riders For Health website to place your bid. Only one set of these leathers were made, and no more will be produced. The reserve has been set at 950.
