For more than a decade the Barber Vintage Festival has been a mecca of motorcycles and motorcyclists from around the country and around the world. Gathering tens of thousands of people to the lush hills just east of Birmingham, Alabama, for road racing, motocross, test rides, and of course the world famous Wall of Death.

The world-class Barber Motorsports Park from above—every year the facility just outside Birmingham, Alabama, plays host to one of the largest motorcycle events in the country.Motorcyclist

The 13th annual event will be this October 6, 7, and 8, with the headline racing event set to be the AHRMA Pro-Thunder Challenge. An $18,000 purse will be spread over the top five places, with $8,000 going to the winner. Race direction will allow 30 applicants to enter, with only the top 20 qualifiers being allowed to race in the 10-lap final event. It’s bound to be a spectacle.

Purse or no purse, the Barber Museum and motorsports campus is something every motorcyclist should see. For more information about the race and how to enter, go to or click here for the entry form.
