R&G; has unveiled a new product to help protect motorcycles from crash damage; the Frame Skidder.
Designed as an alternative design to the company's Aero Crash Protectors, Frame Skidders give a sleek look of protection for exposed naked bikes and easily nestled behind the fairing on a sports or half faired bikes.
Introduced on the new Aprilia V4 Tuono and RSV4, the subtle skidders are specifically developed for each machine and mount across the engine mounting points of the frame and prevent the chassis from making contact with the ground.
Made from extremely durable high-density Polyethylene (HDPE) - the same material as R&G;'s award-winning Aero Crash Protectors - the new product is designed to wear in order to help slow a bike down if it is sliding.
R&G; Sales Director, Simon Hughes, commented: 'With the exposed frame on a naked bike vulnerable to damage, the Frame Skidder offers an alternative and discreet way of protecting a bike and can make a real difference to the fate of a machine in the event of a spill. This is another example of R&G; not resting on its laurels and continuing to developing new solutions to protect our customers' bikes and save them money.'
As well as the Frame Skidders, R&G; has worked fast to offer a full range of protection for the Aprilia Tuono V4 R/APRC, including Aero Crash Protectors, Bar End Sliders, Engine Case Covers, Fork Protectors and Radiator Guards.
