Suzuki Celebrates 50th Anniversary At Red Bull Indy MotoGP

Suzuki has been in will-they-won’t-they mode with respect to MotoGP for some time now, but when it comes to the Red Bull Indianapolis MotoGP, August 16-18, the company will definitely be attending—and Suzuki owners are invited to come along. The occasion is the 50th anniversary of Suzuki’s entry into the American motorcycle market, which took place on August 16, 1963.

The celebration will take place in the Suzuki Fan Paddock at Turn 2, where Suzuki owners will enjoy a hospitality center, a free gear check, tech inspections by Suzuki technicians, and a professional photo of them and their bikes. Owners of other brands of bikes are still welcome to attend an interactive Suzuki history told by Motorcyclist and Cycle World  magazines; a Suzuki motorcycle, ATV, and scooter display; the GSX-R Knee-Dragging Photo Booth Experience (awesome name for a tribute band); and mingle with Yoshimura Suzuki and National Guard/Michael Jordan race teams.

Suzuki owners can get Indy MotoGP tickets here; owners who purchase tickets will be able to park in the Fan Paddock and take advantage of a lap of the track for half price, get a reserved seat at the grandstand, and receive IMS souvenirs.
