A Supercross-Inspired BMW Superbike | WILD FILE

The Off-Road Warrior

Forget about BMW's Boxer-powered GS models, this is our kind of adventure bike! Beginning with the all-conquering 180-horsepower S1000RR, BMW aftermarket accessory specialist Wunderlich has re-imagined the uber-superbike as a Mad Max-inspired off-road warrior—complete with high handlebars and macho-looking Continental TKC80 knobby tires (recently released in 120/70-17 and 180/55-17 sportbike sizes). In addition to all-terrain tires, this angry-looking RR is equipped with high-end aftermarket components from numerous Wunderlich partners, including Öhlins suspension, Moto-Master brake discs, Magura handlebars and a stainless IDM exhaust specially developed by Remus. Cloaked in cut-down bodywork created by French designer Nicolas Petit, the bike is finished in matte black and offset with a full selection of Wunderlich accessories including adjustable footpegs, VarioLevers, crash protection and a redesigned seat. Mad Max would undoubtedly approve!
