Dungey and Stroupe on Houston SX Mission

Team Suzuki Press Office

The Rockstar Makita Suzuki team is ready to get back to racing after a week off from the Monster Energy AMA/ FIM Supercross series to race for the victory podium at this weekend's 13th round at Houston in Texas.

Team riders Ryan Dungey and Austin Stroupe have had a successful season so far and are looking to improve their overall points-standings after the dust settles on Saturday night in Houston's Reliant Stadium.

Dungey has been consistently chalking-up points in the Supercross class - which he leads by 21 points with just five rounds remaining - and his 2010 RM-Z450's fuel-injected engine has been pumping out horsepower, which has allowed him to put distance between himself and the rest of the pack.

Stroupe has also had a consistently-good run in the Eastern Regional Lites class: The all-new, fuel-injected 2010 RM-Z250 has been a great asset to his run towards a Championship title; allowing him to be confident and smooth on the track. He has finished on the podium in all-but-one race so far and is currently second in the overall points-standings, just eight points behind the leader.

But before the action kicks off on Saturday, both Rockstar Malkita Suzuki men will be at Stubbs 59 today (Friday) signing autographs for fans between 6 -7pm which takes place at 10430 Southwest Freeway in Houston. The Rockstar Energy Suzuki team of Tommy Hahn, Blake Baggett and Jake Moss will also be there to sign autographs.
