2014 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Limited Edition | FIRST LOOK

During the Indianapolis MotoGP festivities this weekend, Suzuki announced the first of its 2014 sportbike models, a cosmetically updated Limited Edition of the GSX-R1000. Built to commemorate the firm's 50 years in the U.S., the GSX-R features blue-accented items—some painted, some anodized—including fork caps, chain, swingarm adjusters, to name a few. It also comes with blue seats and a special instrument cluster with not only a blue surround but blue backlighting as well. The wheels feature polished rims that are clear-coated for a durable finish.

Just 50 of the 100 produced will come to America. According to Suzuki, 50 dealers will get a shot at one each.

The LE's price had not been set as of the MotoGP weekend, and there are no mechanical changes for the big Gixxer at this time. Check out Suzuki's website for more.
