Less Than One Week To Submit Kids Just Want to Ride! Videos

Video submission deadline is Sunday, April 24

REMINDER: Kids Just Want to Ride! video contest submission deadline is this Sunday, April 24.
Take Action

Help those who will be most affected by the legislation that will ban the sale of kids' dirtbikes and ATVs - the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) of 2008 - come this December, by creating a video on why Kids Just Want to Ride! and/or plan to attend the AMA Family Capitol Hill Climb.

The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) invites all to attend the AMA Family Capitol Hill Climb in Washington, DC on Thursday, May 26. This lobby effort and media event will empower those most impacted by the law by helping them tell Congress just how important riding is to them. It will also put a real face on the negative effects of the CPSIA. To view event details, itinerary, tips on planning your trip to DC, and to register to attend, click here.

The Kids Just Want to Ride! video contest is an opportunity for young riders to share their passion for riding in a fun and creative way. The top three video entries will win great prices. Most importantly, the winning video will be a key component of the AMA Family Capitol Hill Climb.

The video contest is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Create your video. Eligible videos must be no longer than 30 seconds, contain at least one young rider 12 years old or younger, and include the following script, either verbally or graphically: "My name is [insert name]. I promise I will not eat my [motorcycle or ATV, depending on what the child rides]. Kids just want to ride!"

2. Upload your video to YouTube.com and copy your YouTube video's web address.

3. Select the "Go!" bottom at the bottom of this page and paste your YouTube video url in the "Video URL" box. Be sure to submit your video by this Sunday, April 24, 2011.

It's that simple! Be creative and have fun!
