I moved to the US from Iran when I was 12 years old, and I immediately fell in love with the motorcycle culture of this country. No matter what your style, there are so many colorful choices to fit any rider's personality. I spent all of my days and most of my nights drawing motorcycles, writing about motorcycles, or talking about motorcycles. I had dreams as a kid to write for a magazine like Motorcyclist as a full-time editor, so this is really like a dream come true for me.

I started riding as soon as I could, and, as life would have it, I eventually found myself working in the motorcycle industry, first as a salesman and now as a finance manager. My enthusiasm for the sport has kept me in this business and, although there are tough days, I still find myself grinning that I’m somehow involved with motorcycles as an adult.

I have ridden as many bikes as I could get my hands on, and now I own one of my dream bikes, a 2012 Ducati Multistrada Touring S I nicknamed Miss Honey (thanks for the idea, Jack Lewis !).

My rides tend to have a sporting edge, and I particularly enjoy long touring hauls, searching for good restaurants and a chance to chat with other riders. For example, this photo was taken during an impromptu ride—otherwise known as a "sick day"—to tear up the mountains around Deals Gap . We rode 1,500 miles in three days, and it was well worth it. We were so enamored with the other, quieter roads that by the time we made it to the actual Dragon it was nearly dark and all the photographers had already left.

The Multistrada does a grand job of fulfilling my riding desires. I also own a Suzuki GSX-R750 that gets used mostly at the racetrack, where I can dole out shenanigans without getting a ticket!
