Bell Qualifier DLX With MIPS Technology At AIMExpo 2016

Multi-directional Impact Protection System, or MIPS, is a low-friction layer under the helmet's impact liner that enables motion between the head and helmet which reduces the amount of energy transferred to the head during certain impacts. Bell Helmets first offered this technology in their line of bicycle helmets, and now they've introduced the first MIPS-equipped motorcycle helmets.
