The 2nd Annual MTA 2-Stroke World Championship Returns to Glen Helen Raceway

San Bernardino, Calif. - April 1, 2011 - The 2nd annual MTA 2-Stroke World Championship returns to Glen Helen Raceway this Sunday, April 3rd. This yearly celebration of 2-stroke motocross comes with a special twist this year, as it will be the first time racers will be able to experience the USGP track in it's new configuration for the 2011 Monster Energy Grand Prix of the United States.

Eagerly anticipated by 2-stroke enthusiasts, the 2nd Annual MTA 2-Stroke World Championship will have great racing for spectators and competitors alike. With a variety of classes for every skill level and bike displacement, there will be something for every 2-stroke lover out there. Vintage 2-stroke bikes are also welcome!

The highlight of the 2nd Annual MTA 2-Stroke World Championship will be the Pro race, in which big names like Ryan Hughes, Doug Dubach, and last year's champion Bobby Garrison will battle head-to-head against a whole field of 2-stroke mounted pros eager to win the $4500 Pro Purse.

Race entry is $85 for the Pro class and $40 for all other classes. Gate fees are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-12. An open practice will take place on Saturday, from 8AM to 2PM. Gates open Sunday at 6AM, with the first practice taking place at 8AM and the racing starting at 9AM.
