2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster Walkaround

Video walkaround with engine noise of the new passenger-friendly Bonneville cruiser

Triumph’s 2018 Bonneville Speedmaster takes the UK company’s aggressive, solo Bobber platform and rounds it out into a more versatile cruiser, as our video below suggests.

Iconic Triumph badging and two-tone paint instantly strike a nostalgic chord, and the deceptively simply lines house a wealth of modern performance components, belying its outer appearance.

Along with the subframe and tailsection made for riding two up, the Speedmaster sees upgraded cartridge forks, forward controls, Brembo calipers on dual front disc brakes, and a 16-inch front wheel.

I was happy to hear that the 1,200cc high-torque engine and mapping haven’t changed from the Bobber, as I loved the character of that bike and think it would fit this one just as nicely.
