2015 Honda Crossrunner 800 | UP TO SPEED

Midsize Honda ADV Bound for America?

In Europe, Honda has been selling a middleweight, street-oriented ADV bike under the name Crossrunner. We would certainly welcome another midsize ADV into the fray, especially one powered by a Honda V-4, with heated grips, LED lighting, and standard ABS. For 2015 the bike has been updated with tweaks to the engine and electronics, as well as a styling makeover to bear more resemblance to the new VFR.

This Honda claims a bump of 5 horsepower for a total of 106 and also borrows the “Selectable Torque Control System” (read: traction control) from its 1,200cc big brother, the Crosstourer. The Crossrunner also receives longer travel suspension for 2015, along with an adjustable seat and updated wheels and brakes. Considering that Honda has chosen to bring the 800cc VFR back stateside, could we see the Crossrunner here in the US in 2015? Mmmmm, maybe.
