2010 QLINK Adventure Review

Introduced in 2010, the Chinese-made QLINK Adventure is a V-Twin cruiser type street bike. With the classic cruiser styling, this bike arrives with chrome dual exhaust, chrome spoked wheels and the traditional teardrop styled four gallon fuel tank. The engine is an 18 horsepower, 250cc carbureted V-Twin, with a belt drive 4 speed transmission, one down, three up.< p>

The instrumentation is bare bones – no tach, no clock, just the necessities, consisting of a speedometer, fuel gauge and a trip reset. Driver and passenger sit atop a leather two-up seat at a fairly low 27.8 inches. At that height a five and a half foot tall woman will be able to sit this ride and still be flat-footed at a stop. The driver gets floorboards and the passenger, footpegs and a grab rail. The bike doesn't have any accessories to choose from, so make sure you are willing to scour the swap meets for saddlebags if you plan on doing any distance riding. There isn't factory produced rack or backrest available.

At a lightweight 396 pounds dry, the bike has 6.5 inches ground clearance. It's 98 inches long, 44.5 inches tall and at 36.4 inches wide ( a little wider than most) however, parking and maneuvering is still not bad. The front tire is a 21 with the rear a respectable 15 inch, once again adding to the classic styling of this bike. The front and rear disc brakes give it plenty of stopping power. All in all a nice entry-level cruiser with the smaller rider in mind.
