2010 AMA Pro K&N Filters Grand National Championship - Springfield Is Serious Business

Anyone paying attention will tell you the 2010 AMA Pro K&N; Filters Grand National Championship presented by Motorcycle-Superstore.com has been exciting, entertaining and full of surprises.

Young riders like Steve Bonsie taking his first Twins National win, Ducati and Kawasaki getting their first taste of victory in the twins, Wiles winning his 6th consecutive Peoria TT, PJ Jacobsen first time on a Harley-Davidson riding the Springfield Mile wins his heat race and leads the Saddlemen Rookie of Year, Chris Carr getting his 200th podium, Jake Johnson putting the hurt on everyone at the May Springfield Mile with a run-away victory and Nicole Cheza qualifying for the Calistoga Dash!

With (1) one Short Track, (1) one Half Mile and (4) four Miles remaining, now is the time for each team and rider to show what they have for the run to the Championship.

Will the series have more upsets? Going into Springfield Pro Singles star rider JD Beach is moving up to Expert. This young man won the 2008 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, won the 2010 Eastern Division AMA Pro SuperSport road race with 2010 Pro Single wins on short track, TT and mile. Many predict JD will make a big impression at Springfield this weekend.

Jared Mees, Kenny Coolbeth and Chris Carr have been on the podium this year, however have not seen a victory in thier camp. Each have something very special... and that is teams with experience how to win.
