While testing tires on Angeles Crest Highway north of Los Angeles, Sport Rider Senior Editor Andrew Trevitt was involved in an accident involving a car making an illegal U-turn. As a result, Andrew is in serious condition in the hospital, with numerous major injuries including fractures to his T3 and T4 vertebrae. Although he currently does not have feeling/movement in his lower body, it is too early to tell what the future will bring. Regardless, Andrew will be facing a lengthy rehabilitation.

XTRM Sports Network wraps up an exciting Supermoto Championship Series in grand fashion. The 2008 Supermoto pro season had its peaks and valleys but in the end the final double header at Infineon Raceway on the California coast was an amazing event that showcased the true potential of the sport. All three championships were up for grabs going into the finals and proved to be a wild spectacle of "I can't believe that just happened!"

San Jose BMW Racing's Brian Parriott has won the AFM Open Twins Series on the BMW HP2 Sport, with an emphatic victory at the 2.7-mile Buttonwillow circuit in California.
