Arai has announced the introduction of what it says is not just a whole new helmet, "but a whole new class of helmet." A helmet purpose-built to be "the ultimate street helmet. Something to compete with other top-of-the-line models, but with what Arai calls "a more conscious focus on the road rider." It's called the RX-Q.

Motorcycles, ATVs, and snowmobiles make widespread use of set and cap screws that require hex ("Allen") or Torx wrenches. Sizes can range from 2.5mm to 3/8" for hex style, and T10 to T55 for Torx. Use of tools with loose tolerances or inferior materials can quickly result in damaged fasteners.

iMC Motorcom has just announced the release of the world's first iPhone compatible motorcycle headset: the HS-500. The HS-500 allows motorcycle riders to utilize the phone and music functions of their Apple(r) iPhone and other 3.5 mm (standard stereo headset jack) equipped cell phones, including the Palm(r) Pre(tm) and Blackberry(r) Storm(tm). The HS-500 features dual slim stereo speakers, a microphone, and a handlebar-mounted control button. New for 2009, Twisted Throttle has released Rally Style Crashbars/Engine Guards for the popular Suzuki DL650 V-Strom.
