Every year for his home MotoGP round at Misano World Circuit, Valentino Rossi collaborates with designer Aldo Drudi to create a special AGV helmet graphic that he unveils on qualifying day. This year's helmet, which he wore today at Misano, is themed after one of Rossi's favorite films, The Blues Brothers.

On top of the helmet (www.agv.com), Rossi and his longtime friend and assistant Alessio "Uccio" Salucci recreate the film's movie poster, acting respectively as Jake and Elwood Blues played in the movie by Dan Aykroyd and the late John Belushi. Above them, the words "Sweet Home Misano" play on the title of the Robert Johnson blues standard "Sweet Home Chicago," a rendition of which is included in the movie's soundtrack. Vale's fluo-yellow No. 46 is on the back, as are his dogs Cesare and Cecilia and his orange cat Rossano, all imitating the Blues Brothers in Ray-Ban Wayfarer shades and fedora hats. The movie characters' Bluesmobile police car is  featured on the sides.
