After riding the Rocket III, the V-Max almost feels like a 120-horse pit bike. The Max's flexy-flyer chassis, smallish brakes and bias-ply tires are objectively obsolete, but that rumbling, snarling V-four is just as intoxicating as it was twenty years ago.
