RC51 vs. 999R
Ducati says the 999R swingarm is identical to what you'll see on an '05-spec 999R Superbike. The cast center-section and pressed aluminum sides add up to a more rigid structure than you'll find on previous 999s. Threaded lugs accommodate standard spools, which make using a race stand much easier.
