New GSX-R1000 Owns the AMA Racetracks

American Suzuki Motor Corporation (ASMC) is proud to announce the dominance of the brand-new 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 in AMA Pro Road Racing this year. The completely revamped-for-2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 not only captured the AMA Pro Daytona SportBike Championship at the final round of the season last weekend in New Jersey; it also clinched the overall AMA Pro SuperSport Championship as well as the title in the East Division of SuperSport.

With GEICO Powersports RMR Suzuki's Danny Eslick (pictured) at the helm, the 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 brought home the 2011 AMA Pro Daytona SportBike Championship. For the 2011 season, Suzuki's GSX-R600 also won a stunning four races; three of these were with Eslick as pilot and the other was with M4 Suzuki rider Dane Westby. On top of this remarkable performance, the new Suzuki GSX-R600 notched an additional 11 podium finishes in the Daytona SportBike class this year.

In AMA Pro SuperSport, ANT-Racing.com/Star School Suzuki's James Rispoli captured an impressive two titles in one season on the Suzuki GSX-R600. En-route to winning the AMA Pro SuperSport overall title as well as the SuperSport East Division Championship, the Suzuki GSX-R600 and Rispoli celebrated an impressive two wins and six podium finishes. The triumphant GSX-R600 also took a win and a podium finish with Vesrah Suzuki's Corey Alexander in the cockpit, as well as a podium finish with Team SuzukiScoopFans rider Elena Myers on board. All in all, the class-leading Suzuki GSX-R600 won an amazing three races and carded eight additional podiums in AMA Pro SuperSport.
