The Primedia Motorcycle Group is looking for an advertising manager to work from our Los Angeles offices selling advertising for our seven motorcycle magazines.
Job Title: Western Advertising Manager Motorcycle Group, Based in Los Angeles
Job Description: Position Summary: Responsible for selling advertising in the Primedia Motorcycle Group using industry and customer knowledge to influence clients and assist them in meeting their business needs. Plan and implements sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain and expand existing motorcycle and ATV business.
Develop and implement sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives
Evaluate market research and adjust sales strategy to meet changing and competitive conditions
Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and effective manner with all levels of staff and customers
Complete all sales administrative activities in a timely and professional manner
Participate in trade shows, special events, and other promotional programs as required
Perform other related duties as assigned

Skill Requirements: Skills, Education & Experience:
Demonstrated skills in problem analysis, negotiation strategies, and successful resolution with special emphasis on closing the sale
Strong team player as well as aggressive, self-starter individual performer
Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
Proven customer relations skills
